League of Legends Keeps Crashing My PC

So I used to have the old client, which was far far worse. It would cause my computer to crash duing 3 parts. The afk check, the load screen and the early game. League has been giving me problems since the latest patch,

Now after I upgraded the only time I suffer a disconnect is in the early game. I was just promoted to s5 from bronze 1 earlier today so I am presently in the silver 5 garbage bin and there are a number of trolls and boosters on their way down. Now when my pc crashes like it did earlier today as a result of league making my ram cap out (8 gb ram). It usually does this when I have a few other windows open.

Now these crashes are rarer with the new client, but an early game disconnect in a lobby full of s5 trolls is catastrophic to the game. Like I came back at 7 minutes to find that our mid soraka had been suidicing the entire time in my absence because the team did not immediately surrender, I have another 5 20 minute waits.

I spend around 20 bucks a month on league and I've been doing that since 2010. I've been holding off as of late out of fear of getting permabanned by leave buster for the crashes caused by the latest patch kicking the shit out of my ram. Please fix this issue. If I get banned I'll never put another dime into this game and I will charge back the money I have put into it thus far within the several month limits my credit card allows.
