Nidalee's swipe (E) aims in opposite direction of mouse during smart casting if not over a target

I was getting this result 100% of the time when I sat in the base and tested it out near the end of my last game. I would walk in one direction, and keep my mouse pointed ahead of me. Without fail, nidalee would turn around and swipe behind her every time i pressed E. I can't believe this bug hasnt been reported yet o.0. It's making me think I'm crazy. Perhaps it's a new bug after a recent patch?

Confimed. Bug since 4.18.. Lost a ranked game because of this. Check this video I recorded. You can clearly see my cursor and nidalee just swipes in whatever direction she wants. If you pounce swipe, she will swipe backwards.

How to reproduce this bug:

  1. Start a game, select Nidalee. Skins that I found the bug on were Natural Nidalee and Leopard Nidalee (other skins untested). Bug seems to be on any map.
  2. I was on blue team, but I assumed the bug is on purple team too.
  3. Game launched fine.
  4. In game: press R, to switch to cougar form
  5. Rank E - Swipe first. Place cursor in front of nidalee and press E to swipe
  6. Move around and repeat until swipe in the completely wrong direction is observed.
  7. Rank W - Pounce second.
  8. Go up to a minion and W, E the minions to Pounce to it and swipe it. This is where I observed her swipe in the wrong direction.

I'm having the same problems with both Nidalee AND Kassadin , it seems like anyone with a cone-style AoE on their "e" skill is having that problem

I believe riot is aware of the problem and working on a fix! Hopefully there will be a hotfix before 4.19

I noticed this a couple of times but it was all during intense fights so I thought it was just because my mechanics aren't how you say, elite mad skills brah. I never noticed it while using it for movement though.

I reported it too as I noticed in ARAM it was doing this. Sure is frustrating! Hopefully they fix it soon... Seems like kind of a big bug they'd want to fix ASAP.

I had this happen to me with Darius and summoner 4, I tried to do a Flash + E combo to catch an enemy, but it casted behind him after the flash. Im sure it's related to any cone AoE and Flash or Flash-like abilities.

Alot of people are reporting the same problem with Kassadin and his R+E.

Multiple instances where I'd Flash+ult with Cassiopeia and it would Ult behind her rather than forward when I have the cursor on the enemy. Doesn't matter which team I'm on it does it.. Enemy proceeds to laugh at me when that play would've landed me the kill/double. Cassiopeia summoner 4

ESPECIALLY DURING EARLY GAME WHERE RIOT FUCKED UP HER REWORK AND SHITTED ON HER EARLY GAME.
