Cant start a game

Ive been trying to start a game but everytime nothing happens and i never go into loading screen. Im fine going into champ select but when the game starts the window just doesnt pop out. I see the LoL icon at the bottom right of my screen saying it is active (I have windows 8) and when i click on it the "you have left a game please reconnect" or "game in process" window pops out but even if i try to reconnect the cycle just starts all over again. I thought it was just a minor glitch so with out thinking i did it again in another ranked game but it did it again. It also does it in custom games. My PBE account is fine but i dont know what to do. Please help.
