I was laning against pantheon as darius. When he had his shield up, for some reason my q wouldnt heal me. I figured this was just a mechanic i didnt know about, but after I proc'd his shield it still wouldnt heal me. He first blooded me and the game snowballed out of control, because my q wouldnt heal against pantheon until 10 minutes in. Please fix.
Were you hitting Pantheon with the blade of the axe?
There is the Handle range, and there is the Blade range of the axe. The heal only works with the Blade.... if he has been jumping on you to stun you as you Q like a good Pantheon would, you will not be healed. If that is not the problem..... then carry on. But that point needs pointed out because you said it was healing 10 minutes into the game, which tells me you were hitting your handle the first 10 minutes.
Nope, played against pantheons as Darius many times and the Q heals regardless if he has block up or not since the Q is not an AA and doesn't get blocked.
You were probably smacking him with the handle.
guess this is kinda late but w/e. It is indeed a bug left over from when they first nerfed darius after the rework. They thinned the blade hitzone and introduced not only inconsistency with the animations but also often times the q will entirely miss and I mean entirely not "Oh you just hit them with the handle!" like it literally plays the miss sound and you do 0 dmg. It will happen to champs and minions and just like the w and r bugs it is unlikely to ever be fixed.
