Spell order applications (please answer)

Questions:

why is it that on certain occasions i am able to hit my flash key, hear the sound of flash going off but still end up dead with no used flash? As if i had beat the other player in moves but yet i didnt? please explain
Again with flash, and other dashes tele etc, i am able to use a movement abil and at times i am cc'd at the other end of my move. Again, something needs to change, either i make it and take no cc or i dont and remain in place. not both

Sometimes it refunds your flash because it "didnt go off" due to you dieing before hand or something. the cc effect is like elise cacoons you as you shen dash(taunt) if mid dash it hits you your dash wotn stop but will finish then you'll be Cced. Now something like taric stun it flies to you and you can flash a wall etc and then it will hit you.

As 404 Kat Not Found said, a lot of projectiles that arent auto hit (Not skill shots, but things such as an enemies arrow, or gun shot, etc..) They will chase you down, and when it hits you, that cc will happen. So even after you flash, if they used the skill, it will chase you until it hits you, or is blocked by some form. And in other cases, as Kat said, if you are killed before it actually goes off, it sounds it but doesn't. (Some people die after flash because projectiles follow them)
