Region SWITCH

So I just started a game noticing everything in my options was changed, more like reset to default... I thought like okey that's weird but didn't mind that that much. Next thing i know in my next champion select (ranked game promo to p2) i get a system message telling me the client was going to restart because there was a patch to update... I lost a promo match for this reason and as i was updating i realized the region was switched to NA (from EUNE). I don't know if that is a common bug or new, or rare af case, just wanted to let you know :) I repeat, i was ingame when this happend
