4K Monitor Support

I'm still not 100% sure this is the cause of the issue, but after some research it looks like it is. I recently purchased a 4k monitor after switching from an iMac to PC. I was eager to get into League right away, but I noticed some errors. All of my numbers in the game were way too big compared to playing on my iMac http://i.imgur.com/k9pbjq8.jpg

I looked up ways to fix it and saw the error has been here for about 4 or more months now. What is the status on the fix for this issue. I've tried the other solutions where you change your display settings, make custom display settings, etc.. but that isn't working. When I change those settings on my computer, everything gets small on my computer, the League client gets smaller, but the numbers in game still stay the same size. Is there a fix for this I'm not finding or is this still an ongoing issue?
