Bloodmoon Kalista Bug

When playing Bloodmoon Kalista, if I take a thresh lantern (his W) I will sometimes cancel the Lantern with a hop. For example, I will click on the lantern, it will show me taking the lantern and then I will hop to the side and cancel the lantern. This has happened on multiple occasions. With a variety of Thresh skins.

Not game breaking or upsetting, just thought I would put this here.
