Error Message Upon Login to Client on Mac on Patch 6.2

I am playing on a Mac on the latest OSX El Capitan and with the latest Patch 6.2, every time I log in I get this message.

> Error There was an error processing a message from there server; this may be caused by a number of issues so it is recommended you restart your client. If it continues to occur please visit support.leagueoflegends.com with a description of the error and what you were doing at the time.

Anyone else getting this on a Mac on this latest patch.

I have contacted support and tried the methods that they had suggested and it did not work.

But it has not affected my connection or any gameplay. Anyone else have this issue or have seen this?

I have had this message also come up as well. Sadly, whatever the problem with the client is, I can't play any games on league. As soon as I leave champ select, I get a black screen that I'm unable to get out of. I usually have to restart my computer. I tried restarting, repairing, and reinstalling the client to no avail.

Hey guys, I submitted a support request and got a response from Riot. I posted it in the boards here:

TLDR: Riot knows about the error and it doesn't seem to be having an affect on gameplay.

Press enter when the black screen appears and wait a couple seconds.

Mine does the same thing. I've also been having higher lag and disconnecting during a game since the patch, but no problem loading the games themselves.

I seem to be having the same issue. It showed the message and worked fine at first, but then my friends decided to invite me to a 5v5 and the black screen came. I restarted the client 3 times but the same problem occurred. Then I proceeded to reinstall the game but to no avail. The message popped up and then I pressed ok. The infamous black screen appeared when I wanted to spectate a match. I've contacted Riot support and am currently waiting on a response.

I'm having this problem for 3 weeks now. After that message my client crashes. I have posted several post here on boards as well I sent a ticket to the support. After applying solutions they gave me, my game still doesn't work. Finally i got the response that they don't fully support the new (El Capitan) os and... that's it! My friend plays on Yosemite and his client is perfectly fine.

This just happened to me now and every time I play a game it keeps pushing my ping above 100. I've tried everything including deleting the application and reinstalling it, but nothing seems to work on my end. I hope riot addresses the problem, or at least acknowledges it and let us know they are working to fix it.

I have the same problem. Every time I log into league since the 6.2 patch, I get that same exact message. My client runs just fine though. I tried doing the repair thing and I still got the message. If anyone finds a solution to this problem, please let us all know ;) I am also on a mac on the latest OS X El Capitan.

Mine has been fixed w/ the new patch, hope everyone else is fixed as well! No more problems and no more mysterious message when I log in to league ;)

I had this message as well when i login but i can still play games normaiiy, thats weird :/
