Launcher Bug Cannot Play Game

OK so I launched up LoL and while I was downloading the patch I tried to login. The Login Button did not work until the 4th time I clicked it, it took about 10 times longer to get in, then stuff started getting weird. News wouldn't load, i clicked profile and it showed my profile but i had no icon, top champions, rank or anything, it looked like a template rather then my profile. My friend Folders didn't show either, it just showed my friends list as if I had no folders. I could message people but idk if they ever got the messages or not. I exited the game and relaunched and i am confronted with a dark blue square the size of the LoL Launcher but nothing is there, not even an X button.
