Can't close masteries edit menu window during champ select

When I try to edit my masteries during champ select the close button for the window in which the edits are made is non-functional I can click it repeatedly but I cannot exit the window and uncover the lower three quarters of my screen. I am using the new client and the window covers up the lock in button causing a mandatory dodge as far as I can tell.
