the last couple of games i played with thresh with the relic shield/face of the mountain, every time that i went to last hit a minion, i did not get the passive of true damage to the minions. its suppose to do between 200 and 400 damage to minions below a certain percentage of health and this has not been the case. please check into this bug. thanks, J0HN686
Thresh is a ranged champion. The passive only applies to melee champions. A good way to still take Relic Shield with Thresh is to wait for your passive to charge up so you get your empowered basic attack. However, you lose poking damage this way so you will have to pace yourself. An alternative is putting Attack Damage into your Runes or taking the Cunning Mastery that increases your damage against minions and monsters.
Thresh is ranged, so you need to last hit normally.
