Crash

I was about to start a game on the alpha client, but I was told I don't have the splash... and then my league crashed before I could finish reading the message. I was told to re-install the alpha client after I re-booted. When I did it would not let me reconnect to my game. Would anyone know the solution to this splash art I'm assuming issue?
