Can't Ping with OSX Yosemite (mac)
Is anyone having the same issue? I can't ping normally, my mouse goes straight to the bottom of the screen. All i can ping is 'asking for assistance'. This only happened right after the update to Yosemite.

I've been attempting to reproduce this issue on Yosemite in our compatibility lab. I am unable to reproduce the issue. It may be connected to a specific combination settings that I haven't tried. Can someone experiencing this issue please post their game.cfg file?

I've found a temporary solution.
Change your Windowed Mode from Fullscreen to Windowed. Then change it back to Fullscreen. This enables you to make downward camera movements and smart pings like before OS X Yosemite. The only downside is that you have to make this change at the start of every single game, this will take around 20 seconds but eliminates the buggy cursor movements for the entire game.

This has been happening to me for a few weeks now. I believe I had it before recently upgrading to the most recent OS X update.
It may not be a permanent fix, but I have found a way to fix the smart ping for your current game. Open your League options and go to Video. Change the setting for "Wait for Vertical Sync (disables software mouse handling)". It doesn't matter if its on or off, it just matters that you switch it. The problem should be fixed for the rest of the game.
The problem must have happened in a recent patch. Hopefully you guys can find the permanent solution soon. :D

guys .. just change your display mode to the window and then change it bk to full screen.. problems solved immediately
Riot please fix!!! I never knew how much i pinged during a ranked game until I couldnt anymore -_-
For me it goes straight to the top i can only ping "be careful"
Yeah same issue. You go to the ping wheel and it automatically jerks downwards as far as it can and does the "Assist Me" ping. Even if you do the hotkeys for other pings it does "Assist Me".
I got the same problem but, i can only do danger pings and when i bring the cursor down to the bottom of the screen, it glitches itself to the mid/top section of the screen. WHY U DO THIS TO ME YOSEMITE:'''(((
The whole, "enter window mode then go back in" is a 1-3 minute fix. This cursor thing is killer and crucial. Still nothing? I researched previous OS releases, and it appears this same problem happened with windows 8, and 8.1. It seems to be an OS release issue.. hope its resolved soon..
This has been happening to me for weeks now, then today after 3 games my cursor disappears in League and does not work at all. Restarting LOL and restarting the computer had no effect. The game loads and keyboard is working fine, but there is no cursor. When I hit space bar the camera shows my character and then immediately pans to the bottom of the map. It is apparent that the cursor is stuck below the bottom of the screen somehow.
Can't play LOL until Riot fixes this...

I couldn't post the file without adding .log to the end but this has been happening for me too and I would really love to be able to do more than just call for help with my pings.
BTW, I've tried using my bluetooth mouse and the trackpad and both ways I am having the same issue.
Happening to me to. Its like there is something else that is under the "bring to front" command and you cant click on league to get your mouse in the game. This really blows man. 
It's also happening to me. In game the ping is stuck on "asking for assistance". Needs to be fixed ASAP, game is unplayable with this bug. Even the keyboard shorts are stuck on this.
I talked to someone who said they'd narrowed it down to the combination of Yosemite, full-screen video, a resolution over 1980x1200 and Software Mouse enabled. On my own system, I do not have software mouse enabled, and it affects my ping menu; turning on software mouse causes my mouse to pin to the bottom of the screen CONSTANTLY for a couple of seconds, then software mouse turns back off.

Not only this, but on a dual monitor system, when in 'camera free' mode, the mouse will scroll all the way to the top when panning to the left or right. Makes it impossible to scroll left and down, making purple side extremely difficult.
I installed Yosemite just the other day. Everything was fine. I played several games. But when my ranked team tried to play with me, I crashed, cold not log back in, and now I cannot even enter a game the PING is sobad. It starts at about 97 (which is my normal and has been fine for months) then it shoots up to over 1000 and I can never reconnect. Naturally, I cannot go back to Maverick. And just now, I had 97 PING and was 100% loaded in an ARAM match and it said I was disconnected. What the heck is going on? Yosemite has been out for more than a year now. Has Riot not thought it worth it to keep the Mac client updated?

Such an annoying bug, makes the game unplayable as it is impossible to communicate with your team. Needs to get fixed like now.
This was submitted 8 days ago T_T damn I know they probably have a lot on their plate but Riot plz. I'm pretty sure I just killed my team cause I tried to signal caution, but it came out as help me and they went in and died XD never underestimate the power of pings...
I have the same problem, I can only ping to ask for assistance. Also, my cursor gets stuck on the right side of my screen if I move it too far to the right. Hopefully it gets fixed soon, either by Riot or Apple.
