[CLIENT][BUG] Client does not recognize champion "lock-in" or "game accept"
Ever since I've upgraded to the new client, I have had issues. When the game "pops" and I have to hit "Accept" to join in the game, the animation showing the timer will get stuck and a few moments later it will give me a message saying that I did not accept the invite. If this happens too much it gives me a Queue Dodge penalty.
Now, I've seen a lot of people posting this, and it should be an easy fix, even if it's just removing the penalty for the time being since it's such a prevalent issue. Why this hasn't been done eludes me. However, there is another issue that I just encountered I haven't seen posted.
I went to lock in my champion. The timer for champ select kept going and about 2 or 3 seconds after I hit "lock-in", the button was clickable again. I did this over and over, and at the end of the 30 seconds it stated "Error selecting champion, Please try again", or something to that effect. Well, I was kicked and got a penalty.
Now, all of my friends have been experiencing issues like the accept glitch. I've seen it posted in multiple spots, on here on reddit and other places on the web. I know there must have been beta testing for this. I haven't worked in programming in close to 10 years now, but I don't see how this wasn't caught before. Nor do I understand why this hasn't had a hotfix yet. If the actual cause of the bug is that difficult to pinpoint, then simply remove the queue dodge penalties in the meantime. It's really unfortunate when you are duoing with someone, and you end up getting a 5 minute penalty because of this, only to have it happen again because the OTHER person has it happen.
