Chat not working

Dear riot, I am just posting this to try and get help fixing me and my friends chat connection problems. At first I thought it was just me but then one time all I had todo was close LoL and reopen it but like today and yesterday and maybe the day before getting the chat to log in is near impossible even if I turn league on and off it doesn't work please help me resolve my issue.
