Almost every game I enter I can't cast any abilites and league won't recognize keyboard inputs for abilities. I've tried tabbing out, quitting and coming back, and resetting defaults and nothing works. This is incredibly frustrating as it gets me reported every time it happens and I can;t do anything about it. Please help...

Before trying this, I'd suggest repairing you client and/or uninstalling then reinstall.
A friend of mine had issues when Curse Chat was open, there may be other applications open that are effecting league for whatever reason.
I had the same problem. Click the settings icon on the top right corner of the client and initiate full repair.
If it happens during a game, don't disconnect to do the repair because it will get you leaverbuster penalty to be gone for 15 minutes. You have to play the game out and surrender at 20.
