I was in queue today for ranked game for 5 minutes in promo series. Never popped. Have loss?

Hi all,

I'm really frustrated right now because of a bug in my promo series to Plat. I was in queue and waited about 5 mintues or so, and nothing popped. Frustrated, I closed my client and restarted, only to find upon returning, I was given a dodge penalty and a loss.

How is this possible!? I didn't even hit "Accept" to get into the game because the screen never appeared for me.

Look at my match history and you'll see I only have ranked wins in my past 4 games - there is no way for me to have lost a game at this point.

I know that you don't typically give back losses like this Riot, but please don't give me a loss for a bug that shouldn't be possible...please give it back before I continue my series...I've been playing your game since Beta and have never made it to Plat before, and was excited to be up 1-0 in the series.

i have heard of something similar happening before... in that case it was a bug in the count, or the display or something not in the actual games, so for instance you still had to play all 3 of your games as nothing was actually counted yet.... i dont know if this is the same situation, but i hope for you it is

I'm pretty sure this is just a visual bug. I've had times where it shows that I have 2 losses, but haven't played a game yet. It seems to happen to me whenever I just lose a promo and get back into it. Like it doesn't update fast enough or something.

As an update, I tried joining a blind pick queue and intentionally declined when the queue popped and it gave me the dodge penalty.

this strongly suggests that my queue was popping, but not visually for me. This means that I got a dodge penalty for not accepting enough queues even though there was no way for me to do so.

Well, 2-2 now. I really ope they give me one back, should be 2-1 and not going into do or die.

Riot responded to the support ticket - not getting the loss back. Guess I'm going to have to go 3-1 to win the series..ugh.
