[GAMEPLAY] Alistar W+Q Combo Not Working Properly.

Most people know that when Alistar, your favourite cow uses his w+q combo perfectly, it looks something like a Malphite ult. For some reason, i have been having trouble working around this bug. If you use the W+Q combo with almost perfect precision, the q wont work and they will just get knocked away. This can be troublesome while engaging in lane, or in teamfights where you accidentally knock away the 2 HP ADC from your team. The Damage from Q still applies and the spell still goes on Cooldown, but it doesnt knock them upwards. Hopefully the issue with my go to support gets fixed soon as it makes me sad to see him bugged like that.

How to recreate the bug. Note: its hard to recreate on purpose in a real game so do it in a custom game against a friend who is standing still.

  1. Stand in the range of your W and the target.
  2. Use the W and Q almost instantly
  3. The target should have been knocked back but not up like it should.

you have to activate the q later instead of right away they changed it a while back so you have to time it better

This bug is as old as the Alistar remake (almost 5 years now). Pre patch 5.16, I've only ever seen one bugged combo in LCS. I counted 10+ bugged combos on camera at Worlds alone. Any time I see this on reddit, people seem to have the hilariously misinformed opinion that it's "intentional" for some asinine reason. If you're trying to get this fixed, I wish you the best of luck because my efforts over the years have been totally fruitless.
