My Friends and I Keep Disconnecting From The Game

It's like the Riot servers are super bad connection. It took me 8 minutes to RC to the game. (The two randoms that went through didn't remake) Even in champion select it was lagging. I had hovered over Teemo then quickly switched to Jax. 30 seconds later when I locked in it said "Error selecting character" then it locked in Teemo for me. Then I had "0" ping. but I kept getting DC'd as if I had a firewall blocking Riot. It's not just me I see other posts as well. The three of us are all on different internet providers too so it's not that.
