why cant Nidalee's W bushwhack trigger Thunderlord's Decree but Amumu's W Despair can trigger it? They both are damage over time abilities.

actually, amumu's w isn't a damage over time, it's a continuous tick of damage. nidalee's w hits you once and damages you for a few seconds after the initial hit, but amumu's w hits you over and over again for one tick of damage. it's a small difference, bit it's a difference.
