Gunblade does not cast

Hello, I've tried the new gunblade and it happens very often that the active effect does not cast. I found out that it cannot be cast while using another ability whereas it wasn't the case before and I haven't seen any patch note talking about that. I don't know if it's intended or not but this needs some clarifications/bugfix.
