"Reconnect" after champion select

Have played league since 2008 and this is the first time this has happened

-Windows is up-to-date

-re-installed league

-ran as admin and ran with non-admin

-1 gig internet connect, my ping is sub 20's.

-Went to RADS>Solutions>lol_game_clinet_sln>releases>0.0.1.222>deploy>League of Legends.exe And nothing happens.

-WHen task manager is open, after I click "RECONNECT", I see League of Legends.exe appear - then disappear.

-When I look at my match history, it shows that my champion was in-game and that I reached a level. So I assume I was in-game just sitting in base.

What do I do?

Hello,

I have had the same issue for about a week now. Just managed to find a solution that worked for me. It was not my firewall itself but it was protection program Bitdefender (same program but different part). In my case the advanced threat defence was the problem. I first disabled it and later made an exception for leaugeclient.exe This might help other players who use Bitdefender to hopefully as solution. Might even work for other protection programs, would advice to first put everything off (then you know if the program is the issue) and if the game starts then put all individual parts of to figure out which one causes the problem. If possible create an exception for the leauge of legends client and we are back in the game summoner 7
