Big Purple or blue squares when mousing over objects in game patch 4.20
i added a picture of the issue i have no idea what it is but it makes farming and fighting champs incredibly difficult

This is a known issue that will be patched in the future, however in the interim there are some workarounds you can try before the patch is implemented:

I am having the same issue. Reinstalled twice. Changed settings all around, even turned off sound (thought I read something about the new patch running weird if people had sound enabled) but nothing worked. Can't even play league like this.
same issue here, big blue/red squares over every unit/structure. Can get really annoying ie. Dragon has square over 85% of the screen.
Yeah, anyone have a fix for this? Reinstalled twice, changed up all my drivers...still no fix. I also get lag and FPS drop whenever I mouse over anything targetable (minions, monsters, towers, champs...even thresh lantern!). I honestly can't even play the game anymore. Pretty confusing since when the new map was in team builder it ran amazingly well. Better than the old map. :(

there are some fixes here, changing the colours from 16 to 32 fixed it for me (riots games/league of legends/config/game) open game with notepad.
damn youve got it worse than my buddy, he completely reinstalled the game, no luck. Then he repaired it and no fix either, I told him to up/save, then lower his gfx, no work there either :(
same problem here. started after the last patch.
happened Year or two ago, but only with icons moving on the minimap. never on the main play screen like this
Well i changed in lol folder in config the game.cfg, switch colors to 32 (if u have then switch to 16, save, u can try running the game, then switch back to 32), worked for me :)
I have the exact same problem right now. It worked fine before but then I had to reinstall the game because I had troubles with my computer (unrelated to the game). So reinstall won't work for sure XD I will try to fix it tomorrow and see what happens.
The way i fixed it was going into NVIDIA Control Panel and setting Anisotropic filtering and every Antialiasing to OFF. After that i gone back to game and the squares dissapear. Surpsrisingly after that i've clicked the Restore button to check wich of those options actually fixed the squares bug and when i gone ingame, the squares weren't there, even with all NVIDIA settings Restored to default (Note that after hitting Restore button the options gone back to ON and Application Controled, so i am not exactly sure how the bug fixed by doing all that... good luck to all)
