League switches my keyboard language when I get in game

Alright this is probably going to be pretty low on the priority list, but here's the background. When you enable the Japanese keyboard in windows, you can toggle between that and an English keyboard with a quick hotkey, but the Japanese keyboard has multiple modes (hiragana, katakana, and english characters), so I tend to use the English setting on the Japanese keyboard so that anything I need is on one big cycle rather than two different branches of keyboards.

The problem is that for some reason, the league client seems to do some sort of "revert to default" action when entering a game so I will suddenly be typing in hiragana when I get in. Then I go to type something in chat or to search in the store and suddenly my attempt to find bloodthirster resulted in me looking for "ｂ

ｒ" and my team is wondering why I'm not leaving fountain.
