[GAMEPLAY] Mac bug

I logged in to play LoL on my Mac like usual, and then when I got into the game, it was glitching really bad. I had to double click on everything in all menus (including settings which was very frustrating), and my map would not move with the mouse. I had to not only click— but DOUBLE click my map to even see what was happening. My teammates were mad at me and I was pulling my hair out only to try a second game to find the problem had gone away. I see some old threads saying this has happened on macs in the past. Please address this issue because I love this game, but went AFK because I thought it was a settings issue that I couldn’t figure out.
