Right now there a horrid recall bug that makes the character model disappear about 1.5 seconds before they actually recall. It makes it hard to stop recalls. If anyone else has seen this please post about it and if a rioter sees this please try to do something
Trust me I've dealt with it a few times and posted as well, I spam my e hoping I find them but no luck. It can turn a game from winning to losing.... they need to fix this asap
It seems more likely that the sound is lagging the recall. It only happens during a change of visibility, for instance when I stumble upon someone recalling, and never when I watch them recall from the beginning. That's probably why I've never seen it with my own teammates.
Still not as bad as the one where they had to disable ranked for like 2 or 3 days...
