[CLIENT/CRASH] 5.7 And a Broad Range of Client Issues

Patch 5.7 completely screwed up my copy of the game. It took several attempts to fix, was not completely fixed, and as a result has caused all of my Item Sets to be deleted because the game had essentially reinstalled itself entirely in an attempt to repair the issues. Hours of work down the drain, some of which I will not be able to accurately replicate, and a huge impact on gameplay speed and effectiveness because those saved build paths are now gone. (These things should have been made either account-bound or savefile-based like masteries ages ago but that's something I'll get into some other time/place. Riot, please, this is super easy to do.)

I first noticed issues when playing my first game. Elements of the UI were randomly buggy, usually improperly scaled or just invisible. The most common aspects of this were the icons for champions and icons for abilities. In an attempt to fix this, I changed the video settings. That didn't really fix anything, but it did seem to make everything worse, as now things like placing a ward or landing certain skillshots were causing the game to crash completely and generate different Dump errors, not even consistently in any fashion. In an attempt to fix this, I did some research and closed the game out to restart the launcher and try to use the repair tool. Before I even could, it prompted that it needed to repair itself, so I clicked Ok and waited for it to finish. The same issues persisted after three attempts of this automated repairing, after which point I finally restarted the launcher and manually opened the Repair feature. This part really got me frustrated, as this essentially reinstalled the entire game, which caused me to lose all of my saved Item Sets, reset all of my settings, and caused Curse to not scale properly with the UI. It also didn't fix the CONSTANT issue since first installing the patch of the Victory/Defeat animations not displaying properly and causing the game to outright crash into a 183 error.

The issues I've been having with the Victory/Defeat animations make perfect sense now, as they are identical to when they were first introduced (which, strangely enough, was temporarily bypassed back then by dropping my video settings from Ultra to High).

End of Game Banners LET'S TRY THIS AGAIN Animated Victory/Defeat banners have been re-enabled following resolution of a performance issue

This part makes me almost certain that whatever they established to resolve the performance issues (presumably the hang/frame hit) also happens to reintroduce with if not completely evolve this bug with the animations. Riot, please actually fix the issue before releasing the next patch. It made everything infinitely worse than just not having it.

EDIT: I thought I'd give it a shot to run through Windows Update and look for any new non-OS-related updates to download, downloaded an update for ActiveX Killbits along with my usual security updates, and now about three fourths of the games seem to play the animation normally without any crash. I have no clue if it's or related or how, but it must be somehow.

As an amendment to what I was saying, a toggle if there isn't already one for the animated endgame screens would be nice. That would at least completely circumvent the remaining main issue.
