Leblanc Dark Seal Glitch

I am having trouble with a glitch with Dark Seal on Leblanc. If Leblanc's clone is alive while an enemy that Leblanc gets a kill or assist on, the clone is getting the dark seal stacks, and not the summoner. I bought dark seal whie 1/0. Got one kill, 0 stacks dark seal. Got a second without ulting to get 3/0, two stacks. Killed one more achieving a 4/0 score, still had 2 stacks on dark seal. Please upvote this or someone more prominent in the community repost so riot can see and fix this. steps to test for yourself -- Get level six and have a dark seal. Use your ultimate (q, w, or e, i am not sure about R since i didn't use it there), and get the kill while your ultimate clone is still alive. You will NOT get dark seal stacks.
