Disenchating Skin Shards

I don't personally care, but I disenchanted SSW Talon, because I aleady own it and I have other skin shards that I'd like to turn to permanents (I am in the middle of spending 85 bucks in RP i got for christmas xd) and I was told "disenchant failed, you find that you still have the same item, restart your client and check connection". I did not get SSW talon back, and I do not know if I got the 220 orange essence from disenchanting it, because I have a lot to disenchant. Letting people know that this is happening sometimes.
