Olaf Crit Animation Cancelling?

I played an Olaf game with some friends and his original skin's crit animation started but cancelled just before he made contact. The damage went through, but the animation just bugged out. Not sure about the other skins, but I thought I would share this anyways.

Edit: Glacial Olaf also has this problem, but not on every single auto. It seems as though the autoattack finishes quicker than a normal one does.
