Ping increases on the eastern part of NA

I was playing some normal games today with some buddies and I noticed the ping on the Chicago server, which I live fairly near, went from average 40 to average 100-114 and it deeply concerns me because it hurts to team fight and then watch really jumpy actions from each team as I make out what ability they used. Or even CS properly because of the unresponsiveness of the actions. I currently am checking my client to see if it's my problem but I have had a few people nearby me that notice the increase.

I'm having the same Issue, I live In St. Louis very close to Chicago. I went from average 19-23 to constant 120 ping and its making the game no fun because all my actions have a Delay to them.

Hopefully this gets addressed asap, I know it sounds crybabyish but if I have to play with 120+ping I honestly just wont play. It feels like a completely different game when all my inputs feel slow.

Same man I spent hours trying to fix it by flushing dns, adding ports, changing dns, restarting router, reinstalling league, and a lot of other stuff lmao. Hopefully it gets fixed soon! :)

I am having the same issue. went from a consistent 43 ms every game to a fluctuating 100-160. If it gets really bad it will spike to very high levels. Please fix Rito.

I go from 33 to anywhere from 113-200 for no reason. I live on the Mississippi only 3h from chicago.

I'm getting it too, sometimes it even lags out in champ select and I get booted because I pretty much DC in it, Its bullshit when you are a games worth of LP from series and then you have to play an extra because that three you lost makes it 98 or 99 after the next one

I went from a constant 19 ms to 81, makes it feel really bad to play.
