Can't Leave Base at beginning of the game

I was in team builder and was playing Udyr top. I connected in a little late (30 seconds) and I couldn't leave the platform. It was like at the beginning of the game where the barrier is there preventing players from leaving. I used teleport to get out of the base but then Udyr automatically started walking himself back to base. I finally got it working by reconnecting again, but by then I was already quite late.
