Amumu's Q <bandage toss>jumps to players when it would otherwise be a total miss for any other skill

was just in a poro king game as lux and enemy amu was chasing me he tried to use he Q and had total bad aim < it shot like if u lined up team 2 champs away from me>, but then out of no where jumps to my champ and he pulls in and kills.......... no where near a hit ...... then as lux i am using my Q and the shots are pretty much grazing enemy champs or going between 2 of them when the next too each other without snaring ....... but yet his bandage jumps with a total miss....... wth riot ....
