Gameplay Bug - Thresh not procing spoils of war // face of the mountain

Hi. Yesterday I played a ranked game with thresh supporting Lucian, Vs a Jinx/Soraka and chose relic shield to heal lucian a bit. Well, even I had the little fire indicator around thresh that tells spoils of war was ready, I consistently could'nt made it work, and sudenly it worked for no reason. It is not game ruining but I think it should be adressed.

Thresh is actually ranged, not melee. The Execute function can only be procced by a melee attack; however, the rest of the item still works (Spoils of War), you just have to last hit normally and not rely on the execute damage.

To help you last hit better since it won't deal execute damage, let your E passive damage build up to full before hitting, especially for cannon minions. Don't forget that any killing damage procs it, so you can hit with Flay or Death Sentence too.
