[GAMEPLAY] Casting friendly skill using "Select Self" or "Select Ally" causes camera to change views

In the past, in all camera modes, when the"Select Self" or "Select Ally" buttons were used in tandem with a point-and-click friendly skill (Ex. Nami W, E; Janna E, Orianna E, etc) the skill would go off, and everything was well and dandy; currently post patch 5.8 with an unlocked camera, not only does the skill cast, but the camera also jerks to center on whoever the spell is cast on. This does not happen if you are in any of the locked camera modes (Per-Side, Fixed, Semi-Locked).

Nothing about such a change was ever mentioned in any patch notes or later addressed.

Steps to experience it yourself:

  1. Have teammates
  2. Pick a champion with a friendly point-and-click skill (the more the better)
  3. Make sure your camera is unlocked
  4. Hotkey the friendly skill + "Select Ally" (usually F2-F4) or "Select Self" (F1) (Bonus points if you try this during a teamfight)

To reiterate from that post, this change heavily hinders gameplay of function key users as having the camera bouncing around, especially in a teamfight, is extremely disorienting.

My questions are the same as those in that post: Was this change intended? If it was, is it possible to look into reverting it back to the way it was before? Or at least give an explanation for why this was changed? If this was an unintended change, how soon can we see this change being fix?
