So basically, my rune book has become corrupted. I can't make or save changes to it. I've tried restarting the client several times, running the troubleshooting corruption scanner and nothing has changed.
Using the Legacy client is a temporary solution to this, as someone on here mentioned. The rune book remains corrupted in the new client.
I HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME.
I CANNOT MAKE CHANGES TO RUNEPAGES SOME PAGES DUPLICATE A RANDOM PAGE (MAKING IT UNUSABLE) SOME PAGES ARE UNSELECTABLE IN SOME GAME MODES
IVE HAD MANY OTHER BUGS AND GLITCHES. RUNEPAGE ISSUES ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST RITO. I LITERALLY RATHER BE DCING THAN HAVING WRONG RUNES ON BECAUSE I AM THAT KIND OF GUY

Having the same issue, plus when in champ select it auto changes to another page.... I have noticed in my last game the in champ select that the rune page would swap back but in game its the proper page? 0.0 rito plz fix Edit: I did also bought another rune page too see if i could edit that page but it was corrupted already as well, the name it auto gave it was: @@!PaG3!@@14340333
same problem here, no idea how to fix it. I think it had something to do with attempting to swap the order of runepages in the new client by dragging and dropping. Now its just all fucked
Same here. Reported these bugs 2 patches straight, no response, no known issues. Nothing.
This! I have had this issue for 3 patches and the severity keeps getting worse each patch. First it was just the slots not working and I could edit my stuff, now I can't move them or edit them. I just did a clean reinstall and it did not work. This has to be account bound and is probably due to code that is shipping as they are working with new possibilities of what runes will become. It's really starting to get on my nerves because I cannot play a tank because I have no pages suited for that play. Riot needs to fix this, but they'll take their time because they know it won't keep us from playing or spending money.
I posted a report of this with photos awhile back and they never replied. Stop releasing new content if the current content is broken, it'll just make it more troublesome to fix.
Edit: I just tried doing a Live Chat to get them fixed. All of my pages were reset and are working at this moment. Go Here and choose technical issue and fill it out from there and select live chat, in total it took me about 10 min to get the issue fixed.
I'm having the same issue since yesterday. I believe the patch made it worst. Tried reinstalling the client from scratch but nothing works. emailed support, but haven't received any answers yet. HHHEEELLPPPP!!
I have the exact same problem! I am trying to update my runepages to specific champions and builds etc.. But I can not save any new page and like ZARUS says, some pages duplicate a random page making it unusable. The text says "Failed to save runebook due to corruted runebook".
I've send a report to RIOT and hope them to fix this. It is really annoying...

I got the same issues. Already opened a ticket but it takes time obviously. I literally can't do anything with my pages and I can't even chose one in champ select. I basically get a random page whenever I play.
I'm having the exact same issue. Literally can't edit any of them without getting the message "can't save due to corrupted rune page". It also says I now have 18x AD mark runes. Pretty big game changer being stuck with the same runes
guys relax its surely because of the new update I got the same problem but they will fix it soon trust me!

I have the same issue. I don't know if it was random but I was editing two pages. AP and AD page. I named one ''AP Mid/Top" and the other "AD Mid/Top" Not sure if having two similar name rune pages messed it up but after that It started acting glitchy. In champ select when I select a page, example " ap mid/top" it'll say I selected something else like a jungle page. I won't know if I made the correct selection till I'm in game. Also when I look at my rune pages I have duplicate of one page. I asked them about it but they won't respond. Best thing to do is to take advantage of the legacy client before it shuts down. There's no issue with rune pages on legacy client.

Yep, I have this problem too. Can't change runes and the first page becomes identical to the corrupted page so I can now only use AP : ^)

I can confirm that doing a repair on the client doesn't help the situation. Some of my rune pages won't let me save changes, some won't even let me changes runes. It's starting to affect more of my rune pages as well.
Yes, the dragging and dropping of rune pages is what triggered this bug. I accidentally dragged one of the rune pages and it's been broken ever since. It's been 2 days now and the only solution I've found, is using the Legacy Client, as someone on here mentioned.
For giggles, I went back into the legacy client to modify and save the rune pages in hopes that the changes would carryover..Yeah, they didn't and are still corrupted. How long is RITO going to sit around and not fix this? When everyone has corrupt rune pages?
