Client bug cost me my series...

I was just in champion select and the timer had ended for champion select and we were about to load into the game when a notification popped up that said the client had experienced a critical error and the game could not start and I should restart my client. When I clicked it the continue button, it took me to the home screen of the client. I check my profile and see that instead of still being 1-1 in my series, I am now at Silver 3, 84 LP. Has anybody else had a similar bug? It cost me my series into Silver 2, and that is quite annoying. I would love to have any feedback from Riot or other community members.
