Master Yi Q negates Senna W

After hitting Yi with Senna W, he can Q to negate all effects, including the aoe root. Q makes Yi Untargetable, not invulnerable. Since the ability is already on him, he shouldn't be able to escape, but at the very least it shouldn't negate the aoe root
