Flex Queue Placements

It appears that after our placements are reset we need to play a single game and are then replaced. I proceeded to play a ranked solo queue game where the other team did not connect resulting in a remake. Despite there being a remake after game it said I was placed platinum 3, but am still shown as in placements.
