Kinded's passive park disappearing

I was playing kindred earlier, when I killed a marked scuttle crab earlier, I noticed that I didn't get the mark for it, after looking at the replays I noticed that the mark had disappeared right as I attacked it, (in the match, it was hard to see it because of the minimap kindred avatar blocking it) Please tell me if this is a bug or not.
