My friends can't see me online

My friends can not see me online if I am just casually online, this means they can't invite me to games. They also cannot see me while i am in a match. I have already checked and the mistake is on my account, since both of my friends couldn't see me, but they could see other friends of theirs. Ps, i own an IMac
