OK So I just loaded up LoL for a few games..It had to do a patch update..So after all that was finish the Launch button shows up..At the same time i get a MSG from Malwarebytes saying it has just blocked a virus called Virus.Injector.LoL..WTF is that RIOT!! Are you guy now inserting hidden back door file in these patches to monitor people of worse??

This is a false positive that has been introduced by the latest Malwarebytes definitions update, there is no malware in the launcher. Im working with MWB now to get it resolved and have the false positive removed. It could take up to 24 Hours though once they get it sorted so, youre going to have to bear with us.
As a short term workaround you can whitelist the Riot Games folder in the malwarebytes configuration settings, this will stop it scanning the folder.

Just got that too. Found this post looking up Virus.injector.lol. It could be a false positive, but Malwarebytes doesn't usually have false positives...
Ok guys, Malwarebytes have confirmed this is a False positive and will be removed in the next Definitions update (this will be in a few hours from now) Sit tight!
Hey, I had the same issue.
You have to restore the file from quarantine of malwarebytes then desactivate the protection against malware program. It works for me. You can reactivate the protection when the game is lauched.

So uh, I deleted the file, thinking it was some sort of malware that had managed to find it's way onto LoL and deleted it from quarantine.
Uh, what do I do now to fix that? Do I have to re-install the entire game?
Although, why is it called Virus.Injector.lol? How'd it end up with that name if it isn't a virus?
Had the same issue after reading the comments i just removed the file from the white list. relaunched the program and its working fine now. i too thought it was some virus lol..
Had the same issue. Malwarebytes mistakenly classifies a file in the LoL launcher as a virus. Just mark Riot's folder as a safe folder in Malwarebytes' configuration to solve the issue. Malwarebytes may have deleted that launcher file, so if you have problems launching, just click on repair next to the launch button on your LoL client.
