Ranked Matches Not Counting

After reaching my promos to silver 3, I was sitting at 1-1 in my series. Playing Warwick and as my teams wins a team fight for the ace, my team charged with baron buff to win the game. When suddenly.... the game crashes. After a couple minutes the game doesn't reconnect so I rebooted the client only to find that the game is no longer rejoinable. Assuming the match ended with us winning, I check my match history only to find the game not there. I'm still in my promos, and it's like the game never happened.

I end up losing my next match and therefore "losing" my promos. Afterwards I win my next game to get back into my promos where I am told I receive 1 free win in my series. After playing and winning my next ranked game, disappointing find that AGAIN I am still in my promos, only with the last match I won being in my match history this time, and still being in my division with a record showing 1-0 in my promos. Are free wins a lie? Or is the ranked system totally bugged?
