[BUG - ZAC PASSIVE] When all blobs are killed, Zac will still revive due to Runic Armor.

Standard Steps for All Trials:

  1. Create a custom game and pick Zac.
  2. Select Masteries for desired trial (For Runes I had an empty page)
  3. Start game and take fatal damage to see result. (In my trials I ran into turret and died)

**TRIAL CONDITION : RESULT ** No Masteries Selected : Bug does not occur. Masteries only up to Runic Armor at Max Points (11 mastery points) : Bug occurs. Masteries up to, but not including Runic Armor (6 mastery points) : Bug does not occur. Masteries including one point into Runic Armor (7 mastery points) : Bug occurs, but less health compared to 5 point mastery trial. Masteries filled in Resolve Tree, excluding Runic Armor (18 mastery points) : Bug does not occur. Masteries filled in Resolve Tree, including Runic Armor (18 mastery points) : Bug occurs. [Thought this was obvious, but put this here anyways.]

CONCLUSION The way how Zac's passive appears to work from a HP standpoint is that once Zac splits up into blobs, he is given health automatically that is untouchable unless a blob takes fatal damage. Once a blob dies, he takes true damage. Typically, when all blobs die, Zac would die too. However, it appears that the healing from the Runic Mastery is applying to the health pool Zac receives when his passive occurs. The true damage when all 4 blobs are killed is not enough to really kill Zac, causing him to reanimate back to life.

I'm not sure if this happens with Spirit Visage or anything, but it would be a good follow up since I remember reanimating with more HP in games. That has not been tested though so take that as you will.

I honestly like this bug because it sort of emphasizes on how Zac is this hero of Zaun and given the nature of his creation, don't you think he wouldn't go down without fighting one last time? From a gameplay standpoint, it really helps him out in lane from a dueling perspective. In teamfights it is easily counterable since he can be CC'd once reanimated. That's just my opinion though.

Well since I don't own Zac I can't test this out myself, but I will say that if this bug does work the way you say it does then it's really not good from a gameplay standpoint. Most champions die when they die, end of story. Some even get to try to get their revenge, but they still die. Zac is one of the precious few champs that can die and still come back to life. The point of the blobs is so that you can make sure Zac stays down, but if the enemy is in the middle of a team fight then chances are that Zac will revive. If you waste your time killing the blobs but he ends up reviving anyway, that's not good. Not quite gamebreaking, but certainly not working as intended,
