[Gameplay] Cho'Gath Rupture

I've noticed that when I place rupture with an enemy inside, then he runs out of it and back in before it triggers it does not hit the enemy. Is this a bug, or supposed to happen? Doesn't seem right to me and its happened multiple times. When an enemy runs straight into rupture (from being outside the circle); it hits them.

A question I must ask, I've seen this, and it mostly happens when the spikes are out of the ground, if so then I myself (who doesn't play cho'gath very much or often) have had this happen, but I think/ feel that it is intentional. What do you mean by

When an enemy runs straight into rupture (from being outside the circle); it hits them.

do you mean like after it casts? Or like when it is still casting?

I don't think that this should be happening I play almost exclusively Cho and don't recall this happening to me
