Throw's the skill shot a different way than selected

So I was playing a game as Naut and I had my mouse facing towards the oncoming enemy team and when I went to throw a hook Naut thew it the opposite direction and this is the first time this has happened this patch its been happening ever since this patch it happened to me on a game with zed yesterday way i have my cursor on the enemy champion and i press q and zed turns around and throws it the opposite direction has anyone else had this problem this patch because it is only this patch im having problems with
