I think Yi's W is acting wonky and I'm pissy about it

To Whom This May Concern,

Yi's W is acting stupid. I play a lot of Yi, and I have meant to whine and complain about this for some time now. When I strike my W key to meditate, I never know if he is going to stay in his meditate state for the duration of the ability (or until I cancel it), or if he is going to meditate for 0.01 seconds and keep running down the predetermined path. I have to constantly remind myself that the only sure way to keep his W up is to hold down the W key, which makes it feel awkward at times, especially in combat. I don't remember this ever being a problem before. So either my mechanical keyboard that works 100% for everything else I use it for doesn't want to work with League like it used to, or something has changed.
