FPS Freezing Mac Mojave

A friend of mine is having issues with the game; his FPS is fine (around 140) but every so and then the frame freezes and he has 0 FPS for 1-2 seconds, making the game barely playable. He's on a Mac Mojave, though, I know more people with Mojave playing League, but they don't have this problem.

I tried searching up a solution, but everytime I came across this problem, it seemed to be un-answered or just abandoned. Any solutions?

you see, the issue is that hes on a mac, and macs are only useful for 1 thing, nothing, there shit, tell your friend to buy a desktop or dont game
