Zyra has a bug?

I have notice since last patch 8.12 that Zyra's plants draws minions aggro onto Zyra. Even though that it is an area of effect skill and not point and click. So when Zyra's plants is attacking the enemy champion the enemy minion is targeting Zyra.

Is this intended or a bug? Since I looked through the patch notes and did not see anything about that change.

It is now 8.14 and still no bug fix for this or response from riot.
